Don’t miss Catapalooza on Wednesday through Friday, August 25-27, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm on the MSU Centennial Mall! Then be sure to look for the Christus Collegium tent to check out what campus ministry has in store for the year. Lutheran Student Movement, Episcopal College Fellowship, and College and Young Adult Minstries of United Methodists will have displays. Sign up to keep in touch about activities for this year. Catapalooza is a festival to kick off the new school year with most student organizations and many community groups staffing tables with information, free stuff, and activities. There is also live music and free food. Hope to see you there!

Bike and Build Update

Tragedy befell the Bike and Build community and the Providence to Seattle (P2S) team on Tuesday 20 July when one of the Team Leaders, Paige Hicks, was struck and killed by a vehicle while the group was biking in South Dakota. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hicks family and the Bike and Build community.

Tuesday afternoon 3 August, 31 young adults from around the USA will arrive in Bozeman to raise awareness about affordable housing. One of eight Bike and Build teams riding cross-country, they’re traveling from Providence, RI to Seattle. After dinner and a brief presentation on affordable housing, they’ll stay overnight at the Christus Collegium before continuing to Helena after breakfast. Please join us for the affordable housing presentation at 7:00 pm. If you’d like to join us for dinner at 6:00 pm, please call 586-3172. Any Bike and Build alums out there in the Bozeman community? We’d love to have you join us.

Maundy Thursday, 6:00 PM Agape Meal commemorating Jesus’ last meal with his disciples with Washing, Anointing and Holy Communion.

Good Friday, 5:00 PM, Adoration of the Cross. A simple, brief service of song, prayers, scripture and meditation on the gift of God’s love in the Cross. Christus Collegium.

Easter Sunday, 5:00 PM, The Road to Emmaus. Service celebrating the mystery of the journey on the first Easter evening with Holy Communion. Christus Collegium.

Ecumenical Ash Wednesday Service

Calling all MSU students, faculty and staff! Resurrection Catholic Campus Ministry and Christus Collegium are hosting an interdenominational Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, 25 February from 12:05 – 12:50 PM at Resurrection University Catholic Parish (across 11th Ave. from Brick Breeden Fieldhouse). Catholics, Episcopalians, Lutherans, Presbyterians and United Methodists will come together to share song, prayer, readings and message to signal the beginning of the season of Lent. There will be an opportunity to receive a mark of ashes symbolizing repentance and renewal. Bring a canned good or non-perishable item for the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. A light lunch follows. Come, be our guest!
